As part of this collaboration, we are building a skilled engineering team where this role will contribute directly to designing, developing and enhancing scalable software products.

About the Role :
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design and develop key applications for our U.S. student housing operations. In this role, you will:
• Build high-quality cloud-native software solutions using modern technologies
• Work closely with business teams to understand and implement requirements
• Participate in architecture and design discussions
• Contribute to the development of reusable components, services and system improvements
• Share knowledge and help guide junior team members
• Follow best practices in security, testing, automation and DevOps

Core Responsibilities:
• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs
• Own modules end-to-end from design to deployment
• Debug, optimize and improve existing systems for performance and scalability
• Ensure secure, maintainable and well-documented code practices
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation and Agile ceremonies
• Review code and contribute to engineering best practices

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, QA, DevOps and UI teams
• Continuously learn and contribute to technical improvement initiatives

Core Technical Expertise:
• Solid hands-on experience in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core)
• Experience developing and deploying applications on AWS
• Working knowledge of AWS services including:
- Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, API Gateway, RDS, IAM
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
• Experience with GitHub for source control and workflow automation
• Understanding of secrets management practices and tools such as AWS Secrets Manager
• Strong understanding of databases:
- Designing schemas, writing optimized queries, performance troubleshooting
• Good communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical teams

Additional Skills:
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js or Angular
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices
• Exposure to container-based deployments (Docker, AWS ECS/EKS)
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Ability to translate requirements into working software
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 4–8 years of experience in software development
• Hands-on experience developing cloud-based products (AWS preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities
